Coursework overview
This course can be taken in high school, known as AP Calculus BC, or in college, known as Calculus 2 (second year Single-Variable Calculus). It is a powerful mathematics course known as the highest level calculus class offered in high schools. Calculus 2 furthers our understanding of Integral Calculus with new Integration Techniques but also begins to pave the way for understanding infinite series & their applications (Power Series, Taylor Series, Maclaurin Series). My tutoring offers a comprehensive guide through every concept covered in this course.
Concepts covered in this course include:
Area by Shells
Arc Length
Polar Coordinates
Parametric Equations
Differential Logistic Growth
Euler's Method for Approximation
Improper Integrals
Partial Fractions Decomposition
Integration By-Parts
Trigonometric U-Substitution
The 10 Tests for Series Convergence/Divergence
Power Series
Taylor & Maclaurin Series
Lagrange & Alternating Series Error Bound
